There will likely be an upcoming LPG feature in Car Mechanic magazine.
As a project vehicle the staff have bought an old Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 with a (closed loop mixer!) LPG system fitted that apparently wasn't working.
Asked if I'd like to be involved in this feature, as I was with their other LPG related stuff. I was greeted with 'long time no chat, must be around 7 years eh'..
But I might have already told them how to 'fix' it lol.
Even if I've told them what was wrong they may still be swapping the luggage area cylinder tank to a toroidal tank in the spare wheel well, so still some LPG related stuff to go in the mag.
The reporter was a bit surprised that off-the-cuff I could advise on fixing the system and advise on what tank would fit, intricacies of fitting it such as the 'tray' that surrounds the outside of the wheel well and how to line up the mv on a 0deg tank to allow it to fit (and still connect pipes to the mv), how to cut the boot floor flap so that the big tank will fit and flap still fit flat.
