Hi,
I have just had my anti-freeze renewed in my motor and on my first trip out the gas frooze up , do you think this is connected ,greatfull for any help if you think the garage has done somethink wrong

They'll have drained (at least partially) the cooling system - and left the reducer airlocked.

Assuming it's plumbed in parallel with the heater, try pinching one of the heater hoses (so the coolant has to go through the reducer, not the easy way through the heater) and revving the engine - it might create enough pressure to purge the air out.
