With virtualy no notice Autogas/Calor Gas/Shell have pulled out of Autogas retailing leaving South Hertfordshire and NW London an LPG desert, and no LPG on M25 in western sector at all. Hope their market share takes a dive, closing 40 A road outlets and 19 Motorway outlets in a month is a crime, this is an ecological fuel that produces 35% less emissions. WHY? only a month ago a report was published with LPG as a growth area and Shell took part in the report.
Hope they reverse this marketing folly and put LPG back on these forecourts. Asda and Sainsburys still have filling stations with LPG use them, get your sandwiches, crisps etc there as well. Hope Shell's foot fall crashes.

There's been a couple of threads on this already (this viewtopic.php?f=33&t=15959 and this viewtopic.php?f=31&t=14876). I'm still considering writing back to Shell following their reply to ask just how many Hydrogen fuelled vehicles are on the road and how much of that they think they will sell and they can't put recharging points on the islands where the current LPG pumps are, but it won't have any affect.

If your not already aware, its worth checking out the below sites to see where its still available around you (all of them are updated by users of the sites in question)
https://www.filllpg.co.uk/ (might have to try that one a few times to get it to work, but its got accurate info once you get it to load)
https://autogas.app/
https://www.mylpg.eu/stations/united-kingdom/

There are apps available for all of them if you want to use on a mobile device, Theres a thread on here about the filllpg app as its no longer on Google play.

Pathetic really when you consider Volvo are now doing LPG versions of their trucks. I drove past Ashford Truckstop a couple of weeks ago. Big sign outside saying Trucks Only, LPG Available.

I think we all need to boycott Shell for everything, domestic electricity and gas, internet, etc.

I would do a boycott of Shell (and BP for doing the same as the same 3 years ago), but my local stations are a BP and Shell and thats it. But being boycotted for anything else on principle.

I know the area (its not that far from me), its been getting somewhat more sparce of available places. There is also Sainsburys at M25/j22 (London Colney) which I use when I'm passing that way and may be a bit easier to access than the Watford Sainsburys. All 3 of those (including Asda at Wycombe) are at least 5p a litre cheaper than my local Shell and 10pm cheaper than the BP which are the only 2 stations in Milton Keynes now.

If i could find somewhere to fit it, I'd have a second tank on the car to avoid having to fill every couple of days in the week (or daily some weeks). But the boot is rammed full of work stuff and there isn't any space underneath big enough to make it worthwhile.
