RE UPLOADING PIC'S
Re: RE UPLOADING PIC'S
I've noticed that too and it keeps prompting to pay for more space but as I'm only using 5% of my allowance, it doesn't seem worth it. I suspect it's deliberately slow to encourage people to pay for it, more likely it will cause people to stop using it.

Re: RE UPLOADING PIC'S
I've noticed the same and had the same thoughts the last few times I've used Photobucket. Unless it's slow deliberately, seems they should be the ones paying more for better server facilities! I expect it is deliberate, because photos don't take any time to load at all if clicked from an external link. I'll put up with the slow admin speed because I have all my work photos on there and wouldn't want to swap to another site even if there is one.

Re: RE UPLOADING PIC'S
It actually slows my computer down just being on the site and will sometimes even lock it up

Too right, Dai.classicswede wrote:Its the end of photobucket.

I just read this page https://www.ghacks.net/2017/06/30/photo ... ed-images/, have set up an account on http://www.postimage.org and will attempt to download all my stuff from Photobucket later when the kids have stopped streaming videos and playing games online... May be a while before I get chance to upload to postimage, org.

Re: RE UPLOADING PIC'S
Hi
a good way to upload multiple photos is to set them up on you desktop then screengrab them into one photo.
you can see an example in my first posts Re: lpg gauge bottom green light flashing and beeping

Re: RE UPLOADING PIC'S
Its not so much of a problem now, as the board now supports uploading pics directly, bypassing all the photobucket nonsense. You can thank Dave for that as he fixed the problem when the hosting was swapped over to his server a few months ago.
