AEB2568 pinout

I used to have a pinout for AEB2568's but recently when I wanted to diagnose a problem within a AEB2568 ECU (not connecting petrol injector 5 input to petrol injector 5 output when running on petrol) I couldn't find my old notes so I manually made new AEB2568 pinout notes.

I first posted this (below) on a different thread that's on a different subject. There's recently been interest from other users about AEB2568 pinout so I've made this thread specifically to post the pinout rather than point interested people to a post half way down a thread on a different subject.

From my notes (my notes lol.. so they probably won't make quite as much sense to other people but I'll understand perfectly if/when I read them again)....

Pinout taken from a late spec King AEB2568 loom (2015ish) with OBD connection wires.

Pins are numbered 1>56.
Pins 1>28 on one row (row A), pins 29>56 on the other row (row B). Row A and row B numbers run in the same direction, thus pin 29 is adjacent to pin 1 and pin 56 is adjacent to pin 28. There is a space between 14 and 15 and there is a space between 42 and 43, I have termed A *tbc below*

When looking at the connector from with the purple slide block at the right, row A is numbered 1 bottom left to 29 bottom right.
When looking at the connector from the front with the slide block at the right, row B is numbered from 1 top left to 29 top right.

When looking at the connector from the rear (wiring side) with the slide block at the right, row A is numbered 1 top left to 28 top right.
When looking at the connector from the rear (wiring side) with the slide block at the right, row B is numbered 29 bottom left to 56 bottom right.

When looking at the ECU face up (label on top) with connector block pointing toward you and slide block at the right, numbering is 1>28 top left to top right, 29>56 bottom left to bottom right.

There is a column space between 14 and 15 and a column space between 42 and 43. I have termed A1>14 block A1, A15>28 block A2, B29>42 block B1, B43>56 block B2. A1 & B1 are together (just different rows) and A2 & B2 are together (just different rows).

05 channel 3 petrol injector cut loom output / bank1 (green)
06 channel 4 petrol injector cut loom input / bank1 (yellow black stripe)

18 Tank solenoid output (thick blue)
19 Reducer solenoid output (thick blue white stripe)

21 Common for injectors on bank 1 channels 1>4 (black)
22 Common (earth) for switch, temp sensors and map sensor (commons connected together in the loom behind the multiplug cover)
23 channel 5 gas injector pulsing output (brown)
24 channel 6 gas injector pulsing output (red)
25 channel 7 gas injector pulsing output (orange)
26 channel 8 gas injector pulsing output (yellow)
27 channel 1 gas injector pulsing output (brown)
28 channel 2 gas injector pulsing output (red)
Block B1
29 channel 1 petrol injector cut loom input / bank1 (blue black stripe)
30 lambda 2 input (purple black stripe)
31 lambda 2 emulation output (grey black stripe)
32 lambda 1 input (purple)
33 lambda 1 emulation output (grey)
34 level sender (green)
35 level sender (white)
36 gas temp sensor (orange black stripe)
37 reducer temp sensor (orange)
38 map sensor (red yellow stripe)
39 map sensor (orange black stripe)
40 rpm wire (brown but in tight black sheath)
41 ignition on wire (red white stripe in same sheath as bank 1 petrol injector cut wires)
42 channel 8 petrol injector cut loom output / bank2 (yellow)
Block B2
43 Main power +12v (thick red black stripe) Note loom joins this to pin 15 behind the connector cover)
44 interface (pink)
45 interface (pink black stripe)
46 common power feed to map senor and switch, no direct connection to main loom.
47 switch (brown)
48 switch (blue)
49 common feed to gas injectors on bank 2
50 Main earth. (thick black) Note loom connects to solenoid earth wires behind the loom cover.
51 OBD (yellow grey stripe)
52 OBD (green)
53 unused
54 OBD (yellow green stripe)
55 channel 3 gas injector pulsing output (orange)
56 channel 4 gas injector pulsing output (yellow)

Reference library might be a good idea to create, makes it easier to find the useful threads. But it can stay here for the moment unless theres more threads to put into a reference library section?
