Re: lquid lpg west yorkshire
He has posted on here with the subject before, usually in relation to Direct injection conversions.
If you are contacting him, or anyone else about it, it would help to indicate the vehicle your intending to fit it to, particually if it is a DI conversion, as the kit is more specific than the vapour kits and more limited as to whats available.

Re: lquid lpg west yorkshire
its a fiat tipo 1.4 16v it would need to be indirect injection system as that what the engine is
Re: lquid lpg west yorkshire
So it's not converted to LPG yet but you want it converted using a liquid injection system?
Why? Liquid injection systems for port injection engines are OK in theory but not so good in practice, you'd do better having a vapour injection system fitted.
Different story for DI engines where imho direct gas injection via existing petrol DI injectors is a better idea than fitting any type of gas port injection (including liquid gas port injection).

Re: lquid lpg west yorkshire
because they are suppoed to offer better efficeny less power loss/ lpg then a vaperiser type
Re: lquid lpg west yorkshire
You are confusing vapour injection with old school singlepoint which, if you intend running down the dragstrip, do give marginally less power although with a lambda controller you'd not notice the difference. A properly set up vapour injection system will give the same power as petrol (more if you can adjust the ignition advance to take advantage of the higher Octane rating of LPG over petrol) and similar economy too. Fitting a liquid injection system to a port injected engine would just be a waste of money and is only really suited to a direct injection petrol engine.
Less power and poor mpg are just two of the many old wives tales surrounding LPG and spouted as fact by people that know naff all about it.

Re: lquid lpg west yorkshire
what sort of price range would an avarage car be?
Re: lquid lpg west yorkshire
Simon (LPGC) has some prices indicated on his webpage - http://www.lpgc.co.uk/index_files/ConversionPrices.htm
You'd be looking at the sequential type systems - so this specific bit is what you'd be looking towards
http://www.lpgc.co.uk/index_files/3or4cylinders.htm
Suggest you check with him directly for a more accurate/upto date price though, if you have a specific vehicle in mind. Some are a bit more involved than others.
