Tank placement (split from LPG WONT FILL ANY MORE THAN 50% IN A 60L tank)

Also is there any legal issues with having the tank near the rear though? Like minimum ground clearance etc? Anyone know the rules?

I've split your post from the 4 year old topic you posted it in.

Can depend on the country your in obviously - here in the UK COP11 describes various aspects but none of them have any legal basis, it would only affect anything you wanted adding to the vehicle register (which might or might not matter to your insurance company).

Typical place to install a tank is the spare wheel well - which is obviously near the rear of the vehicle so would be the most common place to locate it, although some vehicles have alternative places to fit it or don't have a wheel well to put it into.

Clearance wise I suspect its 30cm minimum you'd want - though obviously you don't want anything hanging lower than the rest of the vehicle would do. Might be different in Denmark.
