Re: Stalling on LPG
If you can see any reference to Koltec, Necam or VG392 on the bits you can see, it may be a factory fitted model. I'd suspect its a bit late to be so being a 2010 model?

Re: Conversion of a Volvo V70 (P80) 1999
Colour combinations would be DG7 for sure. I've got a DG5 on one of the Nevo installs and that is just white on the level indicator side.

Re: Running on petrol
If it says fly on the ECU I'd expect the fly software to be the correct one to use. Are you sure the com port 1 is correct though? Have you checked device manger in windows be be sure that its been assigned com1?
Run Devmgmt.msc should tell you, expand the ports section and see whats there?

Re: Conversion of a Volvo V70 (P80) 1999
You'd be able to tell if you have a DG5 or DG7 as if you set the wrong option in the Nevo software, it will protest about it. I know this from having had a DG5 sent in place of a DG7 and finding exactly that to happen. Theres also a DG4 which is the square type switch with the socket on the back rat...

Re: Tank never fills above 32L
You'd be able to tell by looking https://lpgautosupplies.co.uk/product-category/lpg-tanks/ shows both single and 4 hole tanks, 4 hole likely to have a large box over the valvework. Suspect its likely a single hole as they are more common as they are cheaper. It will probabbly be a case of adjusting ...

Re: Tank never fills above 32L
Any idea what type of tank it is? Cylinder or Torroidal (wheel well shape)? If you can access the valve, and know more than the capacity its worth checking the right multivalve is fitted (assuming its a single hole tank). The multivalve will have markings around it to show the angle its to be used a...

Re: LPG petition
Thing is also a lot of the cars you mention above (range rovers) are diesel as whilst they don't mind forking out for fuel, they do mind paying more "road tax" (yes I know its really called Vehicle Excise Duty but its still seen as a tax in any case). Which obviously limits conversion opti...

Re: LPG petition
They don't drop down the food chain as they are fit for very little at 10 years old now, and cause those that would have taken that kind of vehicle on to back off when they discover what work needs doing and the cost of doing it. Tales of timing belts needing major disassembly and expensive consumab...

Re: LPG petition
You've got new Dacia owners making up a fair chunk of the newer vehicles using the pumps - they are probabbly the most common vehicle for me to see filling whilst I'm using the pump. I don't understand where the petition is intended to go as it doesn't seem very clear on the website? The one local r...

Re: What was the Necam Distributor Stepper Motor System all about?
I'd guess that has something also to do with the fuel gauge arrangements, I know you've said some of them will drive the petrol gauge to show lpg level, the Ford implementaion (at least the one I had) had its own gauge on the switch like most other systems do.

Re: KME Nevo Plus VS Nevo Pro looms
Cheers Simon, that should mean the one I've found will work to replace the one I've got that doesn't appear to be working! I take it a file saved on a plus unit can be uploaded to a pro unit? Thinking is to get the car working again with the other ecu and then investigate whats happened with this on...

KME Nevo Plus VS Nevo Pro looms
Can anyone confirm if the loom is different between a KME Nevo Plus loom and a Nevo Pro loom?
Specifally if I plugin a Nevo Pro to a Plus loom, will it work as a plus unit?
Its the 8 Cylinder one in this case that I'm looking at

Re: What was the Necam Distributor Stepper Motor System all about?
To be fair to the Necam stepper system I had, it worked well for a long time with relatively little needing doing to it. When it did pack up (or got to the point I had to swap it out) it probabbly could have been fixed but the car was getting to the point where it was going to be going shortly as we...

Re: Running on petrol
Note that if the changeover temp is set higher that it should be, or if some of the other cold start settings are set to delay switchover, that you might use a fair bit of petrol then as well. Any idea how quickly it actally changes over/what temp is shown at that point? Poor coolant flow to the vap...

Re: Is MFG is a MFinG filling station network?
my experience with Asda sites is they close as and when they see fit rather than any sort of consistancy. Not helped by most (but not all) of them having no real shop facility on the forecourt (the only exception I know of this is the one in Leeds). Like yourself, I'm often out early or late dependi...

Re: What was the Necam Distributor Stepper Motor System all about?
As far as I know its just designed to reduce the amount of gas in the manifold, making it more suitable for engines that have a plastic manifold?

Re: Is MFG is a MFinG filling station network?
Certainly does, more often than not I'm driving to Junction 14 on the m1 at the minute anyway so it'd barely a detour to fill up. Seems all 3 of the sainsburys stations near to the m25 are going as well, Colney has been broken since last year, Cobham has had a note to say no more from the 1st August...

Re: Is MFG is a MFinG filling station network?
Well I'm now down to a single station here, the BP MFG station no longer has a pump. Must have decided their sales were too low, hardly surprising when its 27p a litre more expensive at them than 3 miles across town to use a pump thats in a poor state of repair with a canopy that leaks more water on...

I think its a much to try and confuse the spam filtering software as much as anything, though the actual content is only part of what gets analysed by that sort of thing in any case.
