Re: Petrol injectors merged - KME Nevo
Well the Ebay ECU worked. For around 6 miles. And now its dropped all the same cylinders again and shown exactly the same errors. It looks to me that something is wrong with the car itself that is killing the ecu. It only seems to be the Android app that misreports the time the errors occoured havin...

69.9p is doing well - the cheapest I've seen over here for a long time has been 72.9 and some places asking as much as 127.9 a litre

Re: Stalling on LPG
In some ways that would be better - at least if you want diagnostic capability then you can get the lead and software for Landi Renzo if thats what it is. As to if new spark plugs would help - they won't do any harm, but its hard to say without knowing history of the vehicle/when they were last chan...

Re: KME Diego G3 diagnostics
Folks thank you so much for the comprehensive info. If only I was in your part of the world. The filter is brand new, but I checked it again just be sure. As I loosened the filter retaining cap, there was a lot of residual pressure in the system. This led me to believe there was a good supply all t...

Re: KME Diego G3 diagnostics
as for the optimum pressure - Don't know for a specific figure, depends on what you can get acceptable injector timings with (combination of nozzle size and type of injectors has an effect on that, large nozzles can allow for lower pressure etc).

Re: KME Diego G3 diagnostics
Easy place to start looking is if that pressure reading looks somewhere around the right level - Squeeze the pipe its installed into. 0.23 bar will squash easily, 1 bar will be a noticable amount of resistance. If it works for a bit then pressure drops off that suggests a supply issue - severely clo...

Re: adding a second tank - easy?
You'd also only be able to display one tanks level on the gauge. As said, sharing is tricky - Simon might be better placed to advise on that. This is a possible option https://lpgautosupplies.co.uk/shop/lpg-tanks/4-hole/4-hole-cylinder-vapour-tank-with-valves-and-box/ That would give you a vapour ta...

Re: adding a second tank - easy?
I believe that the vertial tank is different to the normal type torroidal tank - this might depend on the type of tank (single or 4 hole). The valve would certainly be different in any case. The basic idea of adding a tank would be to tee off the filler and outlet, outlet side needs non-return T pie...

You can waste many hours going through that one channels back catalogue https://www.youtube.com/c/JustRolledIn/videos Its the brake ones that really get me - A great example as to why we have MOT tests given the state of some of the ones you see on there (brake discs or as they are called in most ca...

If you can see any reference to Koltec, Necam or VG392 on the bits you can see, it may be a factory fitted model. I'd suspect its a bit late to be so being a 2010 model?

Colour combinations would be DG7 for sure. I've got a DG5 on one of the Nevo installs and that is just white on the level indicator side.

If it says fly on the ECU I'd expect the fly software to be the correct one to use. Are you sure the com port 1 is correct though? Have you checked device manger in windows be be sure that its been assigned com1?
Run Devmgmt.msc should tell you, expand the ports section and see whats there?

Re: Conversion of a Volvo V70 (P80) 1999
You'd be able to tell if you have a DG5 or DG7 as if you set the wrong option in the Nevo software, it will protest about it. I know this from having had a DG5 sent in place of a DG7 and finding exactly that to happen. Theres also a DG4 which is the square type switch with the socket on the back rat...

Re: Tank never fills above 32L
You'd be able to tell by looking https://lpgautosupplies.co.uk/product-category/lpg-tanks/ shows both single and 4 hole tanks, 4 hole likely to have a large box over the valvework. Suspect its likely a single hole as they are more common as they are cheaper. It will probabbly be a case of adjusting ...

Re: Tank never fills above 32L
Any idea what type of tank it is? Cylinder or Torroidal (wheel well shape)? If you can access the valve, and know more than the capacity its worth checking the right multivalve is fitted (assuming its a single hole tank). The multivalve will have markings around it to show the angle its to be used a...

Thing is also a lot of the cars you mention above (range rovers) are diesel as whilst they don't mind forking out for fuel, they do mind paying more "road tax" (yes I know its really called Vehicle Excise Duty but its still seen as a tax in any case). Which obviously limits conversion opti...

They don't drop down the food chain as they are fit for very little at 10 years old now, and cause those that would have taken that kind of vehicle on to back off when they discover what work needs doing and the cost of doing it. Tales of timing belts needing major disassembly and expensive consumab...

You've got new Dacia owners making up a fair chunk of the newer vehicles using the pumps - they are probabbly the most common vehicle for me to see filling whilst I'm using the pump. I don't understand where the petition is intended to go as it doesn't seem very clear on the website? The one local r...

Re: What was the Necam Distributor Stepper Motor System all about?
I'd guess that has something also to do with the fuel gauge arrangements, I know you've said some of them will drive the petrol gauge to show lpg level, the Ford implementaion (at least the one I had) had its own gauge on the switch like most other systems do.
