Re: FillMeWithLPG.co.uk

I'm still paying 63p/l, which is annoying when it's available for 40p/l huge price discrepancy across the UK. That like petrol being spread from £1/l to £1.58/l!

Re: Gas Smell In Cabin After Switch Over??

i rang the garage which done the work on the car previously. they said i'm overdue for a filter change, and told me not to worry about the slight gas smell on switch over as this is normal in really cold conditions because the vapourizer isn't able to burn all the fuel. he said as long as there is ...

Re: DIY Bluetooth Adapter

I considered using one of those Bluetooth modules so I didn't need to get the cable out every time I wanted to check things. The downside I found was that the Bluetooth adapter in my laptop only wants to be COM 6 or 11 and a lot of LPG software will only work if connected on COM 1. You can reasign ...

Re: Gas level gauge shows full all the time?

The car I bought does exactly the same. As you mentioned they are never any good anyway. I just reset the trip counter and know that I can get 250 miles on one tanks, that's the easiest way! Was the system fitted recently? If so take it back and get them to fix it. If the gauge isn't reading correct...

Currently the site is funded from the donation button that's one there.

The donations over the last 2 years almost exactly covered the costs of the hosting and the domain.

Just popped there today, no one was there, no sign of them actually selling LPG?

I've put some business cards in the mailbox. Will see whether I hear from them.

I'm pretty sure that PDF versions of all the HSE legilation is avilable for free. You do have to pay huge amounts for printed copies though.

It seems strange to me that it's not freely available.

All of the HSE documents are free, and they took time for someone to write.

Re: 1 call a month...

I drove through Bedford the other day and saw an Autogas sign outside a house on Goldington Road. Big, nice looking house and a sign advertising LPG conversions. Pump was in the back garden at the side of the house. Never seen it before and wondered if it was anyone that comes on here. Getting peop...

The fact you can see the darker area around the reducer seems to give away that it is leaking as you say.

Re: should I buy this car with LPG?

It will be hard to answer that without being able to see/drive the car and see all the paperwork assosiated with it. You could try a service like Parkers who offer valuations. http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/prices/used/fiat/grande-punto/hatchback-2006/36758/?yearplate=84 That's suggesting £2,295 for ...

Re: just fitted my lpg kit myself...cant understand high cos

I fitted my kit myself to my first car (a Honda Prelude 2.2). Took me a couple of days, just to mount the tank, another day to get the inlet manifold off to drill and tap it. A whole day (with a pit) to run the fuel feed and wires to the tank. A couple of days to fit all the wiring (then another day...

Re: LPG prices .. Europe mainland / Ireland

I've been considering opening the FillLPG up worldwide, can't think of any reason not to. The apps and website could still only load the UK stations to save on us downloading data unecessarily for overseas sites. They might not get the updates as often, but at least knowing where they are when trave...
