thanks to all I have sent off for a 52mm lpg carb mixer can be fitted ontop of carb or inline

Thanks Simon the van has plenty of storage inside underneath the seating so plenty to spare the engine is a petrol on a 1984 Talbot no cat no lambada straight forward carb I want to do as good a job as possible being a plumber and ex gas fitter should be on my side just needed to check tank details ...

hi lpgc I was hoping to fit the toroidal tank under the seating area of the van inside plenty of room to secure then drill through floor for pipework and vent what do you think?

thanks lpgc I have decided against the engine bay I have been having a think what about under the seating behind the passenger seat in the cabin securely bolted down to pas the 30g test and in a separate boxed area ?

yes Brian the tank is on possible a 30 degree incline with the multivalve positioned at the lowest point

hi Brian_h the tank is a 30 degree internal multivalve I get about 20-25 mpg on petrol

thanks Gilbertd for your reply trying to keep everything with short pipe runs and an easier installation have done a land rover v6 twin carb in the past with a tank in the boot space not practical but ran great i am a plumber by trade so pipe and fitting is not a problem don't do a lot of miles and ...
