Re: Supercharged Rangerover fixed by LPGC

massive shameless bump, but when you mention the two sides of the supercharger, are they left/right? which side is the plenum and which side is the vacuum?

Re: l320 reducer options?

Lpg is now limited to 5500, there is switches over to petrol. Currently the pressure letting off is enabled but isn't really making a difference. The pipes at the injectors are actually swelling from the pressure. It's also too high a pressure for the gas sensor to seem to detect hence the error it ...

Re: l320 reducer options?

So updated new injectors installed and all tuned. The problem now is that there is too much pressure, above 3 bar causing an error to be thrown and the lpg system to disable till the pressure is brought down. With the magic jet 3 power it seems theres no way to vent pressure. One way it was improved...

Re: l320 reducer options?

I've got a weird bug back. Bank 1 is running lean at times but not Bank two, so maybe slightly clogged injectors? This injector https://www.lpgshop.co.uk/brc-in03-my09-supermax-yellow-injector/ on an mtm rail. I planned to fit AC Stag WF02 BFC. The current installed injectors should have quite a big...

Re: l320 reducer options?

so i fitted the MAGIC Jet 3 POWER yesturday and wow. That reducer is miles ahead of the KME Extreme, the throttle response in general feels so much better, like it feels exactly like petrol. the pressure never drops below 1 under hard acceleration. although the system seems to switch to petrol under...

Re: l320 reducer options?

I doubt petrol injectors are clogged. Like I said before... check fuel trims and watch for pending error codes while skirting around 3000rpm so as not to let the misfire occur. It may just be that fuel trims need to be re-learned. You linked to an empty rail lol.. but it seems your injectors will b...

Re: l320 reducer options?

I wouldn't advise Stag injectors for your install (or for most other installs either for that matter!), I'd go with MajicJet (original tall version rather than FX). I forget which Stag ECU you have (is it Qbox etc)? Check in your LPG calibration if there are any settings like RPM / ISA correction e...

Re: l320 reducer options?

Supercharged Rangerovers are a vehicle I'd advise fitting original spec engine sensors on because the engine management system is fussy. 100% correct as usual :P Once the denso maf went in. the lean codes started to disappear one by one. so far on petrol no lean codes at all. also the high fuel pre...

Re: l320 reducer options?

You can sometimes reset learned (and mis-learned) values such as fuel trims by disconnecting a petrol injector, start the engine to provoke injector disconnected OBD codes, turn the engine off, reconnect the injector and clear OBD codes. Petrol injectors on these engines are difficult to access but...

LPGC isn't that location of the reducers incorrect because its not lower than the coolant tank?

Re: l320 reducer options?

You might try this... Clear OBD codes and then immediately turn the engine off and leave it until the engine has cooled down (even better overnight). Start the engine (run only on petrol since your LPG calibration and/or fuel return are probably bad), don't let the engine idle long, immediately set...

Re: l320 reducer options?

so a return line seems to be fitted but it still is freaking out about the high pressure. which it does go quite high, 60-70psi when lpg is enabled. are you going to be open anytime soon Simon? I think we've reached the limit of my knowledge on the matter tbh

Re: l320 reducer options?

Whether or not a part performs poorly can depend on whether it's used in the right application. How did you fit the fuel return and what sized nozzle did you fit in it? Are you sure there is no electronic fuel pressure emulator fitted? If there is it could be this that's telling the petrol ECU fuel...
