Re: Misfire after a service

They were brought from a shop so I'm guessing they are genuine .
I will take them out and gap them down to .7 mm or even .6 , and see what that does .
Will also look around to make sure all hoses and leads are connected ok .

He said he would try and find them out the skip . While he was doing this I removed the easiest plug ...

Re: How far do you get with LPG? eg. How many miles for £10

Lexus sc430 V8 , i did 220 miles on £26 of gas at 54 litre .

This was mainly motorway and i was being a bit naughty  with the speeds , so would expect to get even more if i was sticking to the speed limits.

Re: Lexus sc430 what to look for

Thanks Simon , just got to come to terms with paying nearly 5000 pounds on a 18 year old car . It is going to be my daily driver so I have got to make sure I make the right choice , you do not see many about and I like that , and it is the first time in 30 plus years that I have not had a car , deci...

Re: Is this a direct injection engine

Thanks for the info Brian .
I think you've put me off buying it now ,
I suppose it's a bit worrying that it's not on the register , and then with the hassle of renewing the tank and valve , I might give it a miss .

Re: Is this a direct injection engine

I'm thinking of buying it ,but I didn't really want another direct injection car as its a pain keeping it topped up with petrol and gas . I currently have a Mazda CX-7 on gas . I have spoken with the seller and he said it was converted to LPG about 9 years ago , so that's more or less from new , sho...
